Terres et Talents : Our history

Terres & Talents is a local magazine that presents, every month, new artisans, artists, and entrepreneurs, fresh talents from all fields and backgrounds.

It also features guesthouses and holiday rentals, as well as what there is to discover nearby: a tourist activity, a place to eat, an artisan opening their workshop, or an artist to meet.

A print edition is scheduled every quarter, available at our partners’ locations or distributed free to your home upon request. In the spirit of eco-responsibility, we do not wish to distribute unwanted magazines that would end up in the trash.

In the photo above, that’s me, Iliana PATAT, the head and heart of this project : Sales, Editor, Photographer.

To be brief, I hold a Master’s degree (Mastère 2) from a business school with a dual curriculum in sustainable development. My courses in sustainable communication and my specialization in social entrepreneurship led me to start a micro-enterprise in communication, focused on supporting small businesses.

As a photographer as well, I am able to create visuals in their entirety and cover all aspects of communication, offering preferential rates tailored to smaller companies.

Because communication is a real lever for growth, but its cost shouldn’t prevent proper development.

As for the origin of this magazine, it all started with a meeting with an entrepreneur who shared their story openly which inspired me.

At first, I simply wanted to present it on my photographer Instagram account.

But I am lucky, and above all, happy, to be supported by my family, who help me dream bigger every day and carry each of my projects to the best they can offer others.

Terres & Talents is a family story, about people with heart, who put their all into their projects and want them to be known, not through a basic advertisement, but through a real encounter, a true narrative of who they are, how they got there, and above all, a poetic presentation of what they do.

At Terres & Talents, we talk about artisans, entrepreneurs, artists; we talk about tourism, about the beautiful places to discover in our wonderful region, our beautiful Charente.

We talk about emotions, encounters, values, pride. We talk honestly.

Because alone, you go faster—but together, you go further.
